High pressure will slide into Texas tonight and the first part of Wednesday. As the high moves away, our winds will be out of the southwest. This will allow temperatures to warm into the low 80s by early Wednesday afternoon. But a strong cold front arrives and cooler north winds return. The result is another shot of cool air that will drop temperatures into the 40s by Thursday morning.
