High pressure is now in control and stays in place until Saturday afternoon. This means a continued respite from severe weather and humidity that can be associated with May.
Look for morning lows to remain cool through Saturday and Afternoon highs to begin increasing Friday afternoon.
Mother's Day looks to start off dry and for most of us the day will remain rain free. There is a zone in northern Oklahoma and southern Kansas that could see rain and thunderstorms develop by mid-afternoon.
