2 Works for You Storm Shield Weather: Today's forecast for Tulsa and northeast Oklahoma

The strongest cold front of the Fall is on its way.  As of this evening, it is cutting across the northern plains and barreling toward Oklahoma.  In the meantime, this evening will be mostly cloudy and cool with southerly winds in the order of 10-15 mph.  Temperatures will also remain cool, generally in the upper 40s.

Overnight skies will partially clear and with southerly winds, temperatures should remain above freezing.

Early Tuesday, the cold front will slash through Green country turning the winds to the north.  The wind change will hold the temperatures in the mid to upper 40s on Tuesday.  The coldest of the air lags behind the front, so initially temperatures only drop into the upper 20s Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
