MayFest

The 40th annual Tulsa International Mayfest, an outdoor tribute to the arts and music is scheduled for May 17th -20th in the heart of beautiful downtown Tulsa.  Mayfest is a family-oriented event created to promote a broader knowledge of and appreciation for arts and humanities among serious, as well as casual, art lovers.  Mayfest is nationally renowned for presenting the very best in arts and entertainment.

Tulsa International Mayfest has something to offer everyone.  The outdoor area of Mayfest includes fine arts, crafts, four stages of performing artists, KidZone – a children’s hands-on art activity area, and of course, great festival food. In addition to the outdoor space, Mayfest also features five indoor galleries.

9th Annual Blue Dome Arts Festival


The Blue Dome Arts Festival takes place:

May 18th from 11am - 8pm

The event will be located at the historical Blue Dome District at 2nd & Elgin, allowing 200+ vendors and performers to “show their stuff” at the 3 day arts festival.

23rd Annual Route 66 Blowout Car Show and Festival

The 23rd Annual Route 66 Blowout Car Show & Festival, Saturday June 2nd .  Festival runs from 9am-4.  We have 46 different classes for cars and trucks to entre and compete in.  Back this year are 12 different motorcycle classes.  Both cars & motorcycles will have independent judging.  You can register your vehicle from 7am to 10am with judging beginning gat 11am.  The awards ceremony will be at 3pm.  In addition to hundreds of cars, trucks & motorcycles we also have a salsa festival going  on, a Kids Zone filled with great things for the kids, and the Rt. 66 Art Show sponsored by Sapulpa Arts, craft and food vendors, as well as downtown shopping and dining.  We have a great group of presenting sponsors this year Tour Sapulpa, Waste Management, Danny Beck Chevrolet, and TCC. This event is free to the public and is located in historic Downtown Sapulpa on Route 66. 

June 1st will be our kick-off party to the Route 66 Blowout and we will get started at 5:30 with registration in the Creek County Courthouse parking lot for the Rt. 66 Poker Run.  We have a great ride planned for cars and motorcycles, they will travel to a few stops in Sapulpa then on to Kellyville then to Bristow and be back to the Courthouse parking lot by 8pm where Tulsa’s Cold Case will be performing until 10pm.  We will also have a 50/50 pot, cash prizes for high and low hands and door prize give away.  To participate in the Poker Run the cost is $20 and that includes a free event t-shirt.  We are encouraging everyone to come out and look at the beautiful cars and motorcycles and come listen to a great band for free and enjoy a great evening.
